About Me

Hey everybody! I'm Liv Greene.

Like everyone else, I'm here on Greenopolis trying to make a positive difference for the environment. Greenopolis is a great place to connect with others and learn more about living sustainably. At my house, we are always looking for ways to makes our lives "greener" and more eco-friendly. I'll share many of our ideas with the Greenopolis community, and I hope to learn new things from all of you as well.

I'm very passionate about the environment, so naturally Greenopolis is a great fit for me. I also love to learn, which I do here every day. I spend a good deal of my time reading up on the latest environmental products, news stories and technologies. Often I'll take what I've learned and write about it in my Blog, or create a Poll so I can see how other Greenopolis members feel about a certain issue.

Even though I learn a lot through my research, I learn just as much from other Greenopolis members. I love reading and responding to forum topics other members have created. So keep on posting!

I do have a life outside of Greenopolis (I swear!). I have a wonderful family that includes a nine year old son. I love to read--even books that aren't about the environment! I also love to travel. In fact, if I didn't work here, I would love to be a travel writer. Occasionally I'll write about my travels here on Greenopolis. Last year I took an amazing trip to the Costa Rican rainforest. While we were there--well, you can read about it in my Blog.

I look forward to seeing you all on Greenopolis, and making new friends here.

Have fun, and stay green!

The idea of lunch brought to and from school in a paper or plastic bag seems so '80s, but the use of an actual lunch box or reusable sack (although they've been around for years, too) is back in style, and choi...
